History of the Lake County
Revival-2007
"See the world through the Cross"
"It's Harvest Time"
In January 2005, through the leading of the
Holy Spirit, a small group of businessmen decided to meet together
and pray for revival. We asked God to provide for us a building
in which to meet. We approached the City
of Fruitland Park to rent their fire hall meeting room.
Upon sharing with them why we wanted to use it, God showed us favor,
and they have allowed us to use it at no charge.
We met for the first time to pray on Tuesday, February 22, 2005.
For almost two years, we have encouraged men from different denominations
to unite to pray for revival, laying aside minor differences, yet
adhering to the major fundamentals of our Christian faith. We envisioned
that, one day, God would allow us to have a tent revival meeting,
in our desire to see souls saved, to have Christians wake up to
the Great Commission, and to take back the streets of our town given
over to Satan.
The prayer time lasts for two to three hours.
Common men with a common cause, along with preachers, evangelists,
and missionaries, have shared in our prayer time, and very few have
left with dry eyes. We have even had a man knock on the door as
we were praying for the salvation of souls. He came in and got saved!
THANK YOU, JESUS!
In October 2006, through prayer only,
God brought into the prayer meeting a man who offered us the use
of a large tent, along with a sound system and chairs! We then began
to ask God for the right piece of property for our meeting location.
God showed us favor and provided a strategic piece of property.
Again, through prayer ONLY, God has given birth to Lake County Revival
2007. The groundwork has been laid by God. Will you join us and
see what God will do?
We would appreciate your prayers and financial
support. To make a contribution, please make checks payable to Lake
